We had a very unique situation where my grandparents had a sudden and major health event resulting in us having to move them closer to family. I reached out to Yana and explained our situation and that I would be up there a week here and there to slowly move my grandparent’s things and clean out the house before listing it. Yana came over during one of my trips up there to take a look at the house, answer my questions, give suggestions and recommendations. Yana is so knowledgeable about the area and the housing market. As the market shifted, she pulled updated comps and kept us informed with the changes. She was also great at responding to my random questions over many months before we even listed the house. This was a very scary and stressful time for our family and I am so thankful for Yana helping to ease a little bit of that stress. THANK YOU, YANA!

Doesn’t get better than Yana Vass! She really came through at every level helping me purchase my dream cabin in Twain Harte. Highly recommended! Yana’s skills as an agent are exemplary. She did a great job representing my interests from viewing to closing and she’s professional, punctual, and personable. She has a solid grip on construction and was quick to analyze roof/deck/home quality and the inspection report. And she’s a local, so she’s dialed into the market and has extensive knowledge of Twain Harte and Tuolumne County. Yana was great post-closing too, providing a list of local resources (utilities, handyman, flooring, electrician, plow, etc.) while staying in close communication. If you’re looking to buy a cabin in Twain Harte or nearby, you want Yana holding your hand through it. 100%. She’s awesome.

Yana was the BEST!! I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking an experienced realtor with great knowledge of the area, being a local herself. She really was great, extremely timely in responding with getting back to us, often almost immediately and accommodating to us in squeezing us into her busy schedule for showings, she went far and beyond what I've seen other realtors do. Yana had to deal with an extremely difficult sellers agent and through her constant calls and perseverance, got the job done and us into the home just in time for the holidays. I only wish she could have collected the full commission as she did the other realtors job as well as her own. With her local knowledge, she has also advised us contractors and company's to use (and stay away from) which they have worked out great for us. Again, I would highly recommend her and when and if we decide to sell, she will be our first contact.

Yana helped us purchase our vacation home in Strawberry, CA and was an absolute delight to work with. I highly recommend her. She is very knowledgeable about the area and provided us great guidance. She guided us to look at other great properties in the area in addition to the initial list we had created, and gave us great advice about what to watch for when reviewing homes in the area. She has a good understanding of construction and was able to help us understand what challenges we’d face in a home in the High Sierras (woodpeckers, moisture, winter access, etc.) as we are from the Bay Area. In addition to helping us select the perfect home, Yana is excellent at the logistics and commercial details of the transaction. She represented us well in negotiations with the seller, and took great care of us every step of the way. She answered our questions about closing, appraisal, inspection, etc. She is always great at communicating what to expect, what will come next, and what risks we could encounter along the way. It has been many years since I have made a purchase, and Yana was very patient with me when I was nervous and had a million questions. She was very reassuring when we had a hiccup with the appraisal and helped us understand exactly what was happening and how it would affect our timelines. With living three hours away from the property, being able to trust your agent is an absolute must! Our purchase was an investment property, and we would absolutely use Yana again for our next purchase. After the close, she also helped us track down the right utility providers and had great referrals for a handyman, snow plow service, etc. We really appreciate all she has done for us. It is clear that she cares about her clients, and we really enjoyed the opportunity to work with her.
