Great Weather The weather in Lamorinda and Contra Costa County is generally mild, with hotter temperatures in the summer and cooler temperatures in the winter. We often refer to the San Francisco Bay fog as our natural air conditioning as it can be a welcome respite after a hot summer’s day. Temperatures range from 30 degrees F in winter to 100 degrees F in summer. It’s always beautiful though. Close to Nature Nestled in the valley with surrounding hills, there are numerous places to walk and hike in the area. The Lafayette Reservoire is a local favorite, as is the Iron Horse trail. There are plenty of opportunities to connect with nature very close to your new home.
