Memorial plaques decorate the square for all the branches, including a few dedicated to the women who served our country as well. teresa surratt4 StarThis park doesn't quite hold up to the word "park" and what you think of if someone would say let's meet at the Veterans Park uptown. Don't get me wrong it's a wonderful contribute to us soldiers young and old but it's small and not much to it. I was pleased to finally see some picnic tables put up which made it better. Too bad there wasn't more that could be done with the "park". It's kept well, nice flowers and shrubs.Tuesday 8th May 2018
