April has worked in the real estate field for ten years. Early in her career, her focus was helping investors and negotiating short sales. Since then, she has specialized in assisting residential buyers and sellers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area in the purchase and sale of their homes and properties. After retiring from a 35-year career with Lexus and Toyota in 2016, Chris decided to join his daughter, April, as a Realtor®, which had been a dream of theirs for many years. As a father-daughter team, Chris and April have had much success in guiding their clients through the buying and selling process, with the help of their professional designer and stager and additional family member, Janice Duarte. As Bay Area natives and residents of Pleasanton for the past 26 years, April and Chris have a vast knowledge of the Tri-Valley, as well as the surrounding areas. They are very active in their community as well. April coaches Girl’s Varsity Basketball at Foothill High School in Pleasanton, and Chris has coached many CYO, AAU and PYB Boys and Girls basketball teams in Pleasanton. He also enjoys volunteering for such activities as the Heart Association and AIDS walks and is a past member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and a current member of the Knights of Columbus and Faithful Friends Small Christian Community at his church. When Chris and April are not working, they enjoy spending time with family, working out, playing basketball and watching sports.

My husband and I had the best experience working with April and Chris! We first worked with a different realtor, but that experience left us feeling disappointed and discouraged in the hunt for our first home. After this poor first experience, we were referred to April and Chris by friends who worked with them to purchase their first home. Right off the bat, our experience with April and Chris was night and day! We were looking to purchase in the Tri-Valley area and wanted to work with someone who knew the region inside and out. April and Chris were very knowledgeable about the region, responsive, and gave special attention to the details we cared about. Overall, April was very thoughtful and strategic with her approach.
