Holly Whitmer1 StarIf I could give “no stars” I would. My daughter was just recently there and I can’t believe how they treated her. She didn’t receive the help she is in desperate need of receiving. Instead of getting her help, and making sure she was safe, they discharged her to a homeless shelter while she was still at extreme danger to herself. The next day after discharge, lead to another attempt, and readmitted to the hospital. Clearly they just wanted her out of there. They did not want nor try to give her the help she needs. Way to provide safe care for patients in dire need of mental health help.Thursday 3rd March 2022
Deegz5 StarSome really patient,caring and attentive staff. You guys did everything in your power to help ensure the best experience possible. Initially I was very reluctant to commit myself to an inpatient facility as I've never been committed. Alex Blinkenberg3 StarGreat staff and environment considering the situation. Had a great time, but the communication with the doctors could have been handled much better. The staff, therapists, and the day-to-day was great but the doctors (psychiatrists/primary doctor) were bad with communicating with my mom about my treatment. My discharge was also very rushed (probably because of the high demand for beds) which could have been handled better also. Also long intake times.. Kim Webb1 StarIf I could give this Place a zero I would. Someone I know went there and SUN then took him by ambulance to Milford Hospital for a couple of xrays due to the fact that he was on so much medication. He also has a breathing machine that they said he could not have coz there could be drugs in it. Yet they never examines the machine.When he was done they told him there was now no bed available for him. He had to get an Uber back to SUN to pick up his belongings. He had to sign papers and he informed them that he could not read or write. The person at SUN said it was not their problem and would not help him.. the lady at the desk Waves him out the door smiling a d remarked we don't have to help you. Are you serious? He was going for mental health reasons and they turned him away. SHAME ON YOU SUN BEHAVIORAL. If something happens to him now due to your incompetent staff OMG.Saturday 26th February 2022
