The renting process with RPM is very detailed and thorough and takes a bit of time. Since I was moving across country and renting sight unseen, it was particularly important for me to work with a professional team that is reliable and has a specific established rental process. They have a wealth of information online and make it very easy to communicate by phone, email and text. A special shout out to Kevin Saephanh for promptly answering all of my questions big and small with the same diligence and professionalism. Also I want to thank Michaela Roecker for quickly clarifying lease terms to keep things moving forward. A huge thank you to all those involved in getting me in to my rental before my new job began. Once a tenant, the online portal makes ongoing tasks like paying rent and requesting maintenance fast and easy. As a current HSU student, I understand that finding a place to live outside of the dorms is very stressful, especially when it is your first time. My experience with RPM has been nothing but great, and the team has also been very helpful and insightful. I appreciate all the time they took to give me the answers to my questions and made sure that I was satisfied with my answers. Nicole, JC, and Kevin have all been very quick to get back to me and follow up with my feedback. Thank you for helping me through this process! I was a renter with RPM Humboldt for ten years, and recently needed to move. Throughout my tenancy the RPM staff was considerate, supportive, friendly, and very helpful both during my move-in, tenancy, and eventual move-out. I recommend RPM very highly! RPM helped me manage my rental home for over 12 years without issues or disturbances, if there was a maintenance need, they would let me know and once consented Nick would take care of it. Alicia in contracts was always a help, keeping me up to date and Sheila would let me know if rent I was asking was market price and one time advised to increase. We had the same tenants for 12 years and the house is in great shape, thanks Real Property Management!

Moved in for my last semester at Cal Poly and the place was great! Quiet and everyone was super respectful! The bus line to the University was two streets over and grocery store was within walking distance as well. Site manager, Eric was super helpful and was just a great guy in general.!

If you don’t make 3x the rent, have a credit score of +650, and don’t have rental history Don’t even bother with these people unless you have a co-signer that makes 3x the rent and a credit score of +650. Me and my boyfriend put in a application for a rental and we’re denied because of rental history. We have none, We’re still young. We need a co-signer but unfortunately we don’t have one. Housing here in Humboldt County is sparse. It’s unfortunate that they don’t want to give anyone a chance. I understand they want to make sure rent is going to be paid but come on. How are us young people supposed to get anywhere. A lot of us don’t rental history or a co-signer. $84 down the drain👎🏻 I don’t recommend this Property management. They are just out to get your money, $42 per Application is way to much in my opinion. Save yourself a few dollars and a headache.Go somewhere else with your money.

We rented our house in Ferndale for almost 2 years. Sheila Bearden and the team at RPM handled everything for us from finding great tenants to making an emergency plumbing repair. I can honestly say that I never worried once! I wholeheartedly recommend RPM.

Save your money unless you know you have a 650+ credit score. Not only was this the most expensive application fee I’ve ever had to pay ($42) they also charged a co-signer fee which was the same price. (First time I’ve ever had to pay a co-signer fee and I’ve applied to plenty of places) We applied for a unit and they never got back to us, I noticed a new post and asked them to transfer which they did at least. I have great rental history (never been late on rent and have rented for several years) I have great income and my co-signer who makes over 150,000 a year got us both denied simply because we didn’t have a credit score of 650+. If it’s only based on credit scores then don’t bother asking us for rental, income history if you’re not gonna take it into account. $82 dollars down the drain.

I love that I was charged to apply with a co-signer after they had rented out the place only because they still had the listing up. Wasted $84. What a total scam 😠
