Patty is absolutely amazing! We met her at a random open house and knew we wanted to work with her right away. She has so much wisdom, experience and knowledge about the Bay Area market, it's pretty incredible. She was really good about following up and being on top of everything, even things we didn't think of. Luck have it, we found a home in our dream neighborhood 4 days after meeting Patty and she was on top of it right away. This was our first time buying a home and applying for a loan, so we didn't know what to expect, but Patty made it so easy. We hit the real estate agent jackpot with Patty. We truly couldn't have done the entire buy-a-house thing without her. Her experience with SF real estate is unmatched. She knows everything about every neighborhood and she can even tell you how two blocks may differ from each other in price, comfort, noise-level, and foot traffic. Patty is the kind of realtor who listens to what you want, helps work through what you're unsure of, shares her opinion, and then makes it happen. She saved us a *ton* of time by only showing homes she knew fit our criteria (versus setting up a page with a ton of listings for us to sort through) and we immensely appreciated her candor about everything from whether the price was fair to possible remodeling scenarios. She also knows everyone in the business and will introduce you to lenders, contractors, insurance agents, movers, and anyone else you need during this process. Finding the house you want is only half the work. Actually getting the house you want is a whole other process. This is where Patty truly shines. Not only did she counsel us through the entire offer process but she let us keep her on the phone on evenings and weekends happily answering all our questions about subjects we were entirely new to: mortgage, lenders, disclosures, contingencies, etc. We are confident and thrilled to say that we found a home in less than two months of working with Patty -- the very first offer we made was accepted. We found the home of our dreams and closed two days ago!!! We could not have done it without Patty! Patty was the angel that we were looking for! We loved working with her!! She is even continuing to support us even after closing! As first time home buyers we had no idea what we were doing. Thought we were on the right track by actively monitoring the different home listing apps and going to open houses or scheduling home viewings - we were dead wrong! One day we were at this open house and it was being shown by Patty - got talking to her and quickly realized we knew nothing and that she had so much energy, knowledge and drive to help us find our home. We just knew we had to have her as our agent! We exchanged numbers and email addresses and the first thing she did was share a home buyers manual that she had personally curated that describes the home buying process step-by-step - basically "Home Buyers Manual for Dunmies" - it is excellent! Its the first time we understood the entire process. Patty also has been in the real estate business for many years and knows the Bay Area like the back of her hand. Patty is well known by other agents in the Bay Area and I can't stress the importance of that enough - that helps a lot!!! Despite all of what I have said so far, the best things about Patty are as follows: - she really has excellent understanding of what you are looking for ... your taste, style, etc. She will find you the home you really want! The home will have a certain modicum of charm that makes it stand out from the rest and will be an investment that you are extremely proud of that will only appreciate in value! - her knowledge of real estate and the bay area is immense. She will know if a specific street is worth living on or not without even going there. - she is friendly, understanding, available, driven to help you, and on your side (you will feel like you are her only client) - Patty is also brutally honest about the homes that you view - if she doesn't like it, she will say so and explain why ("This is an awful floor plan") ... It is great having someone like that viewing the home with you.
