When I decided to move from the Bay Area to Grass Valley, I heard of real estate horror stories: bidding wars, prices skyrocketing and properties selling for way above asking price. I knew I needed a good real estate agency and agent. I was told by a friend who lived in Alta Sierra to use The Margaretich Team, Sereno Real Estate. Mary Margaretich arranged for her agent, Jenny Miller, to show me around Grass Valley to the various neighborhoods that were in my price range, and both were wonderfully kind and helpful. Jenny met us at many different properties and was always in touch, while we were looking at the properties and afterwards. Since I lived in the Bay Area, Jenny was happy to check them out for me first and send me all the info before I would come up to check them out. She was so helpful with her excellent knowledge of all the Grass Valley and Nevada City areas. It was a crazy ride, but I was able to buy a beautiful home in our price range and even in the neighborhood that I thought would suit me the best! I most definitely could not have done this without Mary and Jenny. Mary was so helpful to me in understanding the process and she was always available to me, day and night. She really took care of me well during the negotiation, closing, and even after closing. The experience was great and the Kimberly my realtor was real responsive and helpful in helping obtain my property. When I was on vacation she would take the time and go out to check out a property on my behalf and FaceTime so we could could review everything. She was real helpful and would go above and beyond to help! That goes for Jenny as well. Both were real helpful and I can’t stress that enough!!
