If i could give zero stars i would. I saw one doctor and after she left i was never assigned another doctor. Seven months i have been a patient at this practice talking to a different doctor each time i call.I took some days off for stress and met with one of the therapist yesterday. I then asked for a return to work note where i was told “we don’t really know you because you don’t have a doctor assigned to you……..so we are not comfortable giving you a return to work note.” This practice however has been very comfortable trying to shove SSRI’s down my throat every time i call (no assigned doctor necessary). So apparently they just give Prozac to anyone because they don’t know me well enough to give a return to work slip, however they are comfortable prescribing drugs. Very scary. Find someplace else if you want to be treated like a human being and not a dollar.

Some people shouldn’t have a career that deals with with patients who have severe mental illness and Gwan Akira is no exception. She showed no sympathy, compassion, kindness or care during our appointment, nor did she listen to what I had to say, asked me questions I had just literally answered, nor did she look at my chart before the appointment so I had to repeat everything I already told the intake coordinator. Not that that mattered, Akira indicated I was fabricating my symptoms and the events I’ve been traumatized by and made inappropriate remarks regarding the medications and their respective dosages that I’m prescribed. This woman should not work in the mental health field, it is very obvious that she doesn’t care about her patients.

I’ve been trying to get my son an appointment for over a month. The receptionist Beverly and the younger receptionist just keep saying they’ll call back. Terrible place. I believe they may be privately owned m. If you or your child needs serious life threatening (is suicidal) help, this isn’t the place to go. 🤷🏾‍♀️
