I called to have two smoke alarms replaced. I noted to receptionist that I was in no hurry, they could put me in when they were in the area. Two electricians came out that afternoon and spent 15 minutes putting alarms in. In fact, only one made the replacement. The cost of the smoke alarms were $40 each. When I got the bill it was $340. I was angry, shocked and felt used. When I called to express my ire with bill I was told that they charge $250 just to go to your house. This was over priced. I had a 220 line replaced to tankless hot water heater for $370 and electrician was here for an hour. This was overpriced. I will go elsewhere if I need electrical services again

Lake Sumter Electric was on time for our estimate, very pleasant, knowledgeable, and up front about safety and costs. The job was scheduled and the guys came out, arrived on time, and completed our job in a timely fashion to our satisfaction. We will definitely use you all again. Thanks so much!

This company is amazing! We were experiencing a power outage at the facility I work at and Lake Sumter Electric came out in a hurry and ready to help! Their men were there for hours but never once complained. We had called several different companies before Lake Sumter Electric and everyone was either to busy to come out and help or they just weren't answering their phones, I got an immediate response from lake Sumter Electric and a technician was on his way in less then 30 minutes! Overall just a great experience 🙂

Came out to my house and help me with quite a few problems. Hung a fan for me took on an old pool light and replace for me as well as fixing handyman special work that was done to the house previously. I’ve had them fix my gates in the past always felt like I was treated fair and paid the right price. Would recommend to anybody.
