We were introduced to Kerry by our good friends, whom Kerry had helped to purchase a home earlier in the year! We felt comfortable working with Kerry from our very first conversation. From Day 1, Kerry made the daunting house search process easy for us to understand. She was quick to provide comps, and walked us through our first couple disclosures in great detail. As we started our search during the holidays, Kerry was out of town, which usually would have made us feel nervous. However, this wasn't an issue with Kerry - her partner Kris was always available to show us all the properties we were interested in around our work schedule. Moreover, Kerry was always available via email & phone, and was extremely thorough in looking into property details, reaching out to seller's agents, and conducting due diligence. Through her industry experience, Kerry recommended us to her top go-to contacts as well, which further helped us with our buying process. For example, we connected with the lender she recommended, who made the loan application process thorough and easy to understand. Buying in the Bay Area is a nerve-wracking experience, but we had confidence in Kerry's guidance, and felt comfortable with our decisions throughout the process. My partner and I met Kerry and Kris at an open house and Kerry immediately gave us incredible advice on what to look for in a home and what the market was like. We knew we wanted to work with her and her team right away. Kerry went to work right away after we gave her our budget and must haves for a home. She then gave us great comps on homes we were interested in. Kerry went with us to all the open houses as soon as we showed interest. She also went to check out homes for us when we were unavailable. Kerry works at the speed of light. We were interested in looking at a house right as it hit the market and Kerry took us on Friday. She created an offer for us on Monday and we got our offer accepted the next day. Kerry is super professional. She gave us a day to day outlook during escrow and made this process (especially for first time homebuyers) so painlessly easy. We are both first time homebuyers so the process can seem a bit daunting but Kerry was so patient and explained with great detail every question we had. It gave both of us so much confidence.

My partner (Denis) and I worked with Kerry Vermeer to purchase a home in Oakland. She was referred to us by our VA Lender, Bill Marshall (also AMAZING), as someone who was very familiar with VA Loans and extremely trustworthy. After my first conversation on the phone with Kerry, I was sold and couldn't wait to meet & work with her. We rented an Airbnb in Oakland for two weeks to look at the homes we were interested in and Kerry provided comps, neighborhood insight, and other info for every relevant listing. She took extra steps to build great professional relationships with the selling agents and after only a WEEK in Oakland, she helped us find our home! We secured the home with Kerry leading the way in just two days and our offer was accepted. We had a two week closing period once our offer was accepted and during that time, there was an incident in the house where the toilet had flooded and caused damage to the flooring and down to the laundry room (downstairs). Just for context, I was early in my pregnancy and my hormones were all over the place but the one thing I was not ever worried about was the entire process of securing our new house. Kerry helped keep my stress down to almost non-existent levels throughout the entire ordeal. She kept us up to date through the entire process, worked out the repair costs with the seller and even covered the remainder of the repair costs out of her own commission!!!! This is just unheard of and we couldn't be more thankful and fortunate to have been connected with her. I immediately referred her to one of my colleagues who was also looking for a home in the Bay Area and she helped them find a home as well within two weeks! I will forever refer Kerry to anyone I know who is in search of home in the Bay Area!
