James helped me and my parents navigate the stormy waters of “fixer uppers” in the Richmond area during this frenzied time in the housing market. James was able to give me the details on various houses, sellers, and their agents to help assess the value and best strategy when placing bids. He was prompt in his replies to my questions and had a flexible schedule when showing me houses. He even stuck it out with my parents and my evolving requirements and price range. I never felt like a lower priority despite my budget being on the lower end (for California). All this helped me land a great house in Richmond (no easy feat!) that met all my requirements! I was fortunate to have found James Masi when I started looking for an investment property in the east bay. As my agent, he helped me find the right house in the right neighborhood for the right price. He was very patient with me, as I was looking at so many homes over several months in so many different areas from the east bay to the south bay. In addition, once my offer was accepted, he didn’t stop right there. He was proactively helping me communicate with all parties like my loan consultant, the listing agent, my 1031 exchange accommodator, and the escrow officer to make sure the process went smoothly. After my escrow was closed, he continued to help me looking for a good handyman, getting measurements for all new appliances that I need to purchase to make sure they’re the right ones, and talking to the fence contractor etc…He went above and beyond to help me in so many different ways to make sure I am well taken care of. His dedication is outstanding. I would highly recommend James to anyone.
