Ilana is a master at her craft. She's been working in San Francisco real estate for 20 years and her experience shows throughout the process. In our case, we were buying in a red hot market where bidding wars were the norm. She knew how to get in the mind of the seller and position our bid at the perfect price that would win over the seller's mindshare. She was also connected personally with the seller's agent which gave us a leg up from the other bids being placed. Ilana's negotiation skills and experience in the market truly paid off because when push came to shove, we put one bid in and had it accepted within minutes. We could have been overpaying, but the house appraised for the price we bid and all was gravy! I will absolutely work with Ilana again the next time I look to buy in SF and will happily recommend her to anyone else looking to buy or sell in this very challenging market.

My wife and I worked with Ilana in 2016 when we bought our property, and then again when we sold 2 properties in 2020/21. Back in 2016, we were new to the SF market and it was naturally overwhelming. Ilana was like a mentor, a supportive coach, and a hard negotiator all in one! She was on top of everything to ensure a smooth and timely closing. Throughout our years of homeownership in SF, Ilana was always there as a friend and neighbor - it was always nice to run into her. She was also a person we could call if we needed help with anything, or even if we wanted to talk real estate ideas. Ilana helped us sell our condos in 2020/21, which happened to be a fairly complicated sale due to a condo conversion. She was patient and optimistic as we worked together to figure how to get all the parties on the same page. Ilana took care of all the details on the ground as we had moved out of California. She helped out with remodeling, staging, coordination of inspections, etc - all of that became stress free! We couldn't recommend her highly enough. I worked with Ilana as a first time homebuyer. Ilana took time at the outset and throughout each step of the process to help me understand the key elements of the market, contracts, and how to navigate the offer and negotiation processes. In my circumstance, my ideal home popped up early in our time working together. While the search in that sense was easy, the negotiation was complicated. There were multiple offers and the seller was antagonistic, treating the process as a battle to be won at any cost. Luckily, I had Ilana to manage the negotiation and guide me through the contentious multi-offer, multi-stage process. Now let's cut the part that really matters to anyone buying a home - Ilana helped me get the house for the right price. While I could wax on about how I now stay in touch with Ilana and love when I can meet up with her for happy hour when she's working with a client in my new neighborhood, let's be honest - any prospective buyer really wants an agent that delivers.
