I was connected with I.B. K9 originally because a dog I was fostering was extremely leash reactive. Jason was so great to work with and has continued to work with him even after he was adopted! Then after finding out we were expecting our first baby, we wanted to get some formal training for our dog, Harlow! Harlow completed their 2 week board and train with Julie and came home with more confidence and is just an overall better listener. She's much better with impulse control and I am confident that she will do great with proper boundaries around the new baby! We can't wait to continue working with them!

We had the most amazing experience with our puppy Max doing the hybrid puppy training. Julie was an incredible trainer for our German shepherd puppy and Kristen was so accommodating and kind as well as her entire team! We are continuing training at I.B k9 and Max has made life long friends and is such a good dog!

I absolutely love them! Julie and Jason have helped me shape my puppy into the best pupper! He was showing signs of reactivity and they helped me understand what to do and how to help him! His obedience is amazing and that’s not something I would have thought a puppy could be capable of. I love how they took the time to explain what was happening and why - they aren’t just helping train your dog, but also you as an owner!

My cattle dog, Eevee, completed her board and train with Julie a few weeks ago. She had subtle resource guarding tendencies and food aggressiveness that was leading her to attack and injure and older, submissive dog in the household. Since being back, Eevee has been more level headed, doesn't try to bother the older dog as much, and has better impulse control. She's just an overall better member of the family and I'm not having to spend every day micromanaging her actions and making sure she's not going to cause any problems.

We came to IBK9 after our dog (Adderall) was struggling with reactivity toward people and dogs (especially dogs). He is an absolute love bug with his family, and his fur siblings, so we kept trying to give him more exposure thinking that would help (spoiler alert: it didn’t, it made it worse). So after almost a year of trying, we decided to go the training route. I contacted IBK9 for an evaluation, and while one on one training would be an ok option, we wanted to give our boy the best we could, so we ultimately went with board and train (his trainer is Julie). It was the best decision we made for Adderall, it gave him and us the tools for success. 6 weeks post training, we can really enjoy going out with him with little to no reactions! We are still participating in group sessions and soon will be in agility classes!
