Sam and his team are true professionals. The entire staff is knowledgeable, warm and caring. Their approach and dedication to my recovery were exceptional. I've been in and out of their office with different injuries and always left with the certainty I was getting better everyday. They listen to you, so you get better faster, what else is needed?! :) The facility is expanding and so are my recommendations! I even brought my dad so Sam could "fix" him. Dad loved it as well.

After a long career in Physical Therapy, I suffered a work injury and I turned to Focused Physical Therapy for help. Sam is one of the best Physical Therapists that I have had the pleasure to meet. His manual therapy and dry needling approach, evaluation and exercise program were very effective in addressing the immediate injury. He also provided me with a long term exercise plan and program that I still perform. I am placing this review now 10 months later because I still have far fewer muscle tension headaches, and much less frequent neck pain than I did during the 10 months that preceded my work injury. Over 25 years, I have worked in several environments and I can tell you that Elo is one of the finest front office professionals that I have met. The other therapists and aides are all kind and professional. You will have a great experience here.

I highly recommend Focused Physical Therapy. Three months ago, my foot rolled over, my foot muscles weakened, and I developed a terrible foot drop. My foot doctor said I would need to use an AFO 24/7. I read rave reviews of Focused PT on a neighborhood listserve and decided to go there. Sam, the director assessed my problem and has reevaluated me twice. Elo, the office manager, is wonderful as she made sure my insurance, any issues, and and appointments worked out. Miguel and Bryan are outstanding Physical therapists. They are very knowledgeable, respectful, caring, and encouraging. Miguel is the PT that I work with constantly. I was barely walking and my foot just hung down when I started there almost three months ago. The strength of my ankle and foot have greatly improved since then from their PT! Miguel has treated my foot, given me exercises which he has increased as I improved, answered all my questions, encouraged me to keep going , and more. I continue to do the exercises daily at home and can see the results. I am now able to drive, grocery shop, walk independently at home, play with my grandchild, go out to functions, hike two miles. Sam and Miguel have encouraged me to wear a foot brace when hiking, and I do that. I am able to raise my foot so I don't stumble when I walk in and out of the house. My foot and ankle's improvement are amazing and my independence is wonderful!!! I will need to continue my exercises at home every day so that my foot continues to grow even stronger. Focused PT is a a team effort with Miguel, Sam, Bryan, Elo and me. They want you to succeed and care about you. I am thankful I found Focused Physical Therapy and the outstanding people who work there! I highly recommend this place if you need PT.

I have found Focused Physical Therapy of Silver Spring to be very helpful since I've started physical therapy with them in May, 2023. The entire staff, from Helouisa, (sp) the jovial, personable receptionist, to Bryan, Miguel, Chris, and the other physical therapists who have worked with me, to be really proactive during my PT sessions. They are very professional and caring and give encouraging comments during and after my sessions. I will continue to perform the PT routines at home that was provided to me after my PT has ended with Focused Physical Therapy. Would highly recommend them to others.
