Home buying is stressful and requires the helping hand of a professional. Simone ticks all the boxes in what anyone could want in a realtor. She is totally committed to representing her client, not simply having a transaction. She showed us a variety of houses that would fit our requirements and was not afraid to point out both the strengths and weaknesses of a property. We had a great experience with Simone. She was knowledgeable about buying in the mountains and had good contacts with inspectors, contractors and lenders. She was willing to let us into the house to check on things and was very accommodating. Simone was easy to communicate with and met all our needs. I feel extremely lucky to have had the good fortune of being represented by Simone Knepper in the purchase of my new mountain cabin. This particular cabin has gorgeous greenbelt views and a wonderful private location resulting in a great deal of interest and multiple offers coming in on the property. I reached out to Simone and within minutes of contacting her, she had arranged access to show me the property and submitted my offer that very same day. Simone is an excellent listener, an attribute that not all real estate agents have. Simone listened to what my budget was regarding the property and what I felt made sense considering some areas of the property that would require work. Simone gave valuable advice on how to structure my offer so that it was strong, clean and straightforward, and despite multiple other offers, the sellers ultimately chose mine as the offer to proceed with even though I don’t think it was the highest offer presented to them. Simone is a pleasure to work with and while I have a fair amount of real estate knowledge, her approach and common sense are definitely the reason I now own this spectacular property. Sometimes it is tempting to have an acquaintance or friend represent you in a real estate transaction and I am confident that had I gone this route, things would have gone very differently and the cabin would probably have gone to one of the other buyers. The great thing is that after working with Simone, I now consider her a good friend and also one that I would recommend to my friends and family who are searching for their perfect mountain property. Simone knows the mountain community and was always quick to respond to questions and concerns as well as provide assistance whenever I needed it. You will never feel like you are pestering or bothering Simone and she always is eager to do research for you or find answers to any questions that you might have.
