I don’t typically write reviews but this one should be noted. The listing agent we worked with on a purchase of our 1st home and the broker are some of the most condescending and arrogant individuals I have come across in recent memory. To make a long story short they encouraged their seller to cancel and breach a purchase contract for which he had no basis to do(no built in contingencies to cancel) Their agent pinned this on us saying “we needed to go find a new property”. This is sellers market and it’s not that easy as many people know. This particular agent had no compassion for the stress this caused us as we tried to uphold our end of the contract as any well intentioned buyer would do. The broker himself refused to intervene or show any leadership although he was copied on every correspondence. Never reached out and never attempted to offer any meaningful resolutions in good faith. I understand the agent is simply acting on behalf of their seller, but the agents lack of communication, condescending approach and finger pointing not only at us but our agents made it apparent that we were dealing with a inexperienced and uninformed listing agent. We are fortunate to work with another agent at another brokerage who has our best interests in mind. And most importantly the meaning of a binding real estate purchase agreement. This company has some fantastic agents despite the folks we dealt with, so please keep that in mind. This is a where a broker and an agent failed to represent their company in a professional manner.

Everyone working here do their best and go beyond on accommodating, assisting, and responding quickly to tenants needs. Application process was phenomenal, quick, and very smooth because of their communication to the applicants. I highly encourage people to call in advance, go to the viewings, and promptly get documents for their application.

My experience was with Beverly in the Property Management department of Cutten Realty. I'm new to the Humboldt area and was looking at a couple different property management companies. Beverly was extremely kind. She was very patient with my questions and she has always replied very promptly to my emails. She's very up front about a lot of things and honest, even if the answer wouldn't have worked out in her favor. What I REALLY appreciate is that if she doesn't know certain information or an answer, she has no problem looking for the answer and getting back to me. She's been an awesome help in the short time I've interacted with her.
