Brenda is a great representative of the real estate world. She listened to what my sister and I needed to sell my fathers property and aligned us with the appropriate buyers in investment branch of the market. Brenda was incredible. While I was not a motivated seller by any means, I approached the sale of my home hoping for expediency and maximizing value none-the-less. Brenda handled her initial introduction as the seasoned professional she is and articulated a well thought out process for listing my home competitively. Her demeanor and follow thru stood out from other agents who didn’t bother following up after our initial interviews. This showed me the level of hard work and ethical approach Brenda brings to the table. Her well thought out approach to navigating my homes listing, staging the home to show, and capitalizing on unique neighborhood quirks resulted in a faster than expected sale. Kind, thoughtful, generous, and understanding of her clients needs but taking the time to explain or articulate a particular process; Brenda made me feel like I knew what I was doing every step of the way. I used Brenda as the realtor to sell my home. Initially, when I first met Brenda, she was very organized and seemed efficient. However, as our working relationship progressed, I started to fell more like a “number” versus a client. Brenda only communicated with me via text message. Being new to the process of selling a home, it can be very confusing. She never once called me to have a telephone conversation. I always had to call her to initiate a call for an explanation. She is not personable and did not take the time to explain each step of the process. She texted me several times asking Me the same questions and requested the same documents that she had previously asked me before. She seemed like she was too busy and couldn’t remember what she had already asked. There was one point during the process where she was very rude and caddy. She told me I had received a home offer that was lower than my offer price. I said they wanted to decline the offer because I wanted to get the asking price or more for my home. Brenda stated, verbatim, “Your home is only worth what a buyer is willing to pay…we don’t have a magic 8 ball.” This comment was so unprofessional and showed she is not supportive of her client’s wants throughout the process. She portrayed that she just wanted to hurry up and close the deal so she can get paid.
