Some friends came over for dinner and brought with them a loaf of Italian Bread. WOW! The dinner was terrific but the Bread was to die for! It was the best bread that I think that I have ever had. The crust was perfect and it appeared to be hand made. They told me that they had purchased it at the Bread & Buttercream Bakery on Marsh Road. I had never heard of this bakery, but I knew the area. We finished the loaf in the next two days and as soon as I could I went there and purchased another. They have an incredible selection of baked goods. They only make Bagels on Thursdays, Challah and Brioche rolls on Fridays. What a great place and I recommend the Italian bread highly. Light toas and marmalade, yummm.

I ordered three cakes and some cookies for my wife’s 50th birthday party. Ordering was easy and everything was ready at the agreed time. The cakes were fantastic. They looked great and were absolutely delicious!!

When I say this is the BEST bakery I have ever been too, I mean it!! The couple that owns this bakery is the hardest working couple I have ever meant! I can definitely tell that they work tirelessly/around-the-clock to always have their fresh and delicious pastries, breads, and cakes available. Although everything they bake is out of this world, my top three recommendations are below: 1.) Their cinnamon buns which are magnificent are both gooey and crispy and simply melt in your mouth! (attached a picture below) 2.) Their torpedo (also called mini hoagie) rolls, especially when you get them just out of the oven. They are to die for! 3.) However, my favorite pastry of all is their napoleon, triangular, flakey, drizzled in sweet icing, and filled with a yummy yellow custard pastry. The owners actually came up with this pastry themselves and you must try it! There is nothing that beats it anywhere else! You have got to stop by this bakery and pick up some treats. Trust me, you will not regret it!

This was our first time ordering from this bakery. Our intent was to support local businesses. We order a cake for my niece, Maggie’s, 18th birthday. When given the choice for a design, we chose the one the baker showed us on her cell phone. Instead they made us a different design as you can see. When we questioned it, the manager told us that each cake design is different. Ironically this wasn’t told to us initially. Without an apology but a rude response was asked, “ Do you want it or not?!” We were over a barrel because we needed the cake. They had a sign to receive a 4% discount for cash payments. Our 8” round cake was $40. 4% off is $1.60= $38.40 but we were charged $38.46?? My niece liked more raspberries which worked out. The cake & icing tasted light, moist & fluffy. However, the chocolate in the marble cake was tasteless. 4 stars for the fluffly cake, fresh berries, moist texture, tasty icing, but tasteless chocolate on the marble cake. Minus 2 stars for the given blatant rudeness by customer service.
