I have worked at this location since 8-26-2002. On New Years day 2007 at work I was attacked by Mick Mckernan. He hit me in the back several times with a pipe. A doctor noticed the damage to my spine from that attack. At the time his nephew Joe Kling was 2nd in command at the location but later went to Nucor. I asked his nephew the next day if he heard about what happened, he said yes and was laughing about it. The thousand dollar reward resulting in arrest and conviction stands for attempted murder since there is no time limit for this felony offense.
